Set in the beautiful countryside of Yangshuo, you will find Trippers Carpe Diem, halfway up the hill in one of Yangshuo's authentic nearby villages, where you can immerge yourself in daily Chinese life as it has been for centuries, while enjoying a most relaxing and peaceful environment just a short walk away from the town center.
Our Yangshuo hostel features en-suite double, twin, single and family private rooms as well as dormitories, a common TV-DVD lounge where you can relax and watch movies, read books from our library or freely surf the internet. In our cosy bar & restaurant with next and on top open terraces overlooking the valley below and karst peaks beyond you can socialize with fellow travelers, relax, play games, listen to music, play pool with a view over the landscape Yangshuo is famous for.
Beautiful cycling, hiking and running trails in Yangshuo's countryside start right here in our village. The nearby Li-river is the starting point for some wonderful rafting and kayaking trips taking you through some of Yangshuo's most dramatic scenery while its neigbouring part provides an excellent refreshing swimming area or you cycle a bit further upstream to the more privately 'secret beach' along the Yangshuo Li-river. We also provide a shuttle service to help you in and out of town quick, warm or cool, and easy for just 5Y per mini-van several times a day. Our bikes are free after 6.00pm as well!
To enjoy Yangshuo's qualities, no need to leave the center for the countryside as you would already be there! Next to the most popular activities in Yangshuo (rock climbing, caving, bamboo rafting, lightshow, Yangshuo cooking school, cormorant fishing show, Longji rice terraces,...) for which we provide tickets, maps and transportation, we offer some unique tours aside like guided cycling village tours, guided kayaking trips on a beautiful secluded part of the Li-river, horse riding trips along the nearby Li-river and more.
We also organize mandarin classes where you can learn the Chinese language to help you get the most out of your China travels, and Calligraphy, Painting, kung fu and tai chi classes where you can gain an insight inn China's foremost arts. Master Kim, Yangshuo's most popular tai chi master with foreigners residing in Yangshuo will come to our hostel and teach you privately on the rooftop, quite an inspiring setting!
We can help you to book all bus, train and flight tickets for your onward journey, including Vietnam visas and bus arrangements. Have everything arranged while seizing your stay in Yangshuo. Visas in 1 to 3 working days delivered in Nanning, 2 to 4 working days in our Yangshuo hostel.
